I bought the Woven SL shoes on the premise of them having a more comfortable upper after reading reviews. My pair of original Evo SL shoes had only marginally comfortable uppers but gave me no issues on my runs. The Woven SL shoes turned out to have far less comfortable uppers. I bought the same size as my old shoes so there should not be an issue there. On my third run in the Woven SL shoes I ran 11.7km instead of my usual 10km I began experiencing an acute pain in the top of my left foot at around 8km whether I ran or walked. I have worn many different shoes over my running life and none have injured my foot in this way. Very poor by Adidas. It's pointless having a great running sole when the shoe is so uncomfortable.
