I'm 5'4" and 140#. I typically wear small, but wanted a baggier pants so I ordered a medium and it was too big around the hips. Also felt a bit long which made me dislike how the drawcords on the ankle fit / sat. I was looking for a very thin baggier pair of lightweight pants to travel and train in very hot humid weather and these aren't aren't it. The fabric is pretty lightweight, but the material isn't as soft I was hoping. They are hiking pants and they feel like they would be more durable than a softer fabric, so if that is what you are looking for probably a better fit for more rugged activity.
